Alberta bred He's Crimson Code : From Racetrack to Show Jumping

Admin • March 4, 2025

Breeding is both an art and a science, and it’s always rewarding to see these horses thrive—not just in racing but in their lives beyond it. The best breeders take pride in ensuring their horses have a good future, whether that’s on the track, in the breeding shed, or in second careers.

The Omega Code son out of the Alydeed daughter, Crimson Deed, HE'S CRIMSON CODE, raced for three seasons in Alberta from 2020 through 2022 and retired with $22,304 in earnings from a career record of 1 win, 1 second and 2 thirds from 15 starts.

From the racetrack to the show ring! Code, the first foal out of Crimson Deed by Omega Code, retired sound after his racing career and found a new purpose with a dedicated young rider from High River.

Given the time and patience OTTBs need to transition, Carol built a strong bond with him before training for his second career. Now, they’re gearing up for their next big challenge—a show at Spruce Meadows from March 13-16.

A true testament to the versatility and heart of Alberta-breds!
