Rennie served as General Manager of the CTHS Alberta for many years and was an integral part of Alberta’s Thoroughbred community. Warm, welcoming and always generous with his time and knowledge, Rennie provided steady guidance to the CTHS Alberta and made a lasting impact on the many people who had the pleasure of knowing and working with him.

His contributions to the CTHS Alberta and the Thoroughbred industry will be remembered with great appreciation.

We extend our deepest sympathies to Heather, the Gellner family, and Rennie’s many friends throughout the Thoroughbred community.

    THOROUGHBREDS

          By Paul Mellon

The day my final race is run

And, win or lose, the sinking sun

Tells me it’s time to quit the track

And gracefully hang up my tack,

I’ll thank the lord the life I’ve led

Was always near a Thoroughbred.
