Highlights of 2025 CTHS Alberta Sales Stakes Winners
Four $50,000 sales stakes races were run on Sales Stake Festival Day at Century Downs Racetrack and Casino on Saturday, October 4th. Four $50,000 races were run offering opportunities for past graduates of the CTHS Sales Stakes to earn a share of $400,000 in purses being offered.
Two Year Old Sales Stake Winners:
HIWAY FORTYNINE won the 2 year old Filly Division. The Cross Traffic filly was already a stakes winner after winning the black type Sturgeon River Stakes in her previous start. The Esquirol Farms bred filly now has a record of 3 wins in 6 starts with career earnings of US $70,477 to date. Hiway Fortynine is owned by Al Pitchko.
RELAXGODOITRAMONE won the 2 year old Colts & Geldings division, after winning his previous last two starts out in both the Alberta Premiers’ Futurity and the Canadian Juvenile Stakes for owner and breeder Highfield Investment Group Inc. The Fed Biz colt is out of the Cape Canveral mare, Heartless Sofiya. The Fed Biz colt has earnings to date of US $88,644in his first year of racing.

Three and Four Year Old Winners:
The four year old
ITSALLGOODMAN was the winner of the 3 & 4 year old Colts & Geldings division after previously winning the Red Diamond Express Handicap and the Spangled Jimmy Handicap this season for owner Curtis Landry. The Speightster sired runner is now a three time winner of the CTHS Alberta sales stakes after victories in 2023 and 2024. US$248,091. Bred by Stone Ranches and sold through the 2022 CTHS Alberta sale for $17,387, Itsallgoodman now has career earnings of US $248,091.
Highlights of the Three and Four Year Old Fillies Division:
The Birdstone filly, SILKSTONE, won the Filly Division of the 3 and 4 year old Sales Stakes for owners Everblack Cattle Co. Ltd., Stetson Enterprises Ltd. and Ryan Stetson. The four year old runner was bred by Moonshine Meadow Ranch and sold through the 2022 CTHS Alberta sale for $26,458. Silkstone now has career earnings of $124,511.
