GOTTCHA GOLD has been purchased from Strideaway Acres in Armstrong, B.C. to serve the western Canadian markets in a more centralized location at Peaceful Valley Farms in Didsbury, Alberta. New owner, Anthony Bilotta, was perusing the sales yearlings at the CTHS Alberta Yearling Sale in September when he spotted promotional posters about the stallion in the barn of Strideaway Acres. Bilotta “remembered him from back in the day and that he was a real speed horse defeating, in record time, champion and 1-9 favorite, Lawyer Ron.” Strideaway owner Cathy Reggelsen confirmed that Gottcha Gold was indeed for sale and Bilotta “did the deal right there at Northlands Park!” Bilotta was pleased to secure the transaction for Gottcha Gold particularly since the handsome stallion has classic Ribot bloodlines on both the top and bottom of his pedigree.
