Four $50,000 Sales Stakes showcased talented Canadian-breds and CTHS sale graduates.


🐎 $50,000 Two-Year-Old Sales Stakes – MIDNIGHT MOOVER


Alberta-bred MIDNIGHT MOOVER kept his perfect record intact, capturing the $50,000 Sales Stakes for Two-Year-Old Canadian Breds for trainer William Leech.

The Fed Biz gelding is now undefeated in three career starts, with victories in both the CTHS Sales Stakes and Alberta Premier’s Futurity and career earnings of $88,560.

Bred by KRT Stables Inc. and owned by Shawn Vander Heyden & Lyle Adams, Midnight Moover sold through the 2025 CTHS Alberta Thoroughbred Sale for $16,454.

He is out of multiple stakes-winning mare Anstrum, who earned more than $270,000 during her racing career. A full brother to Midnight Moover, Lightning Bandit, was offered at the 2026 CTHS Alberta Thoroughbred Sale.


🐎 $50,000 Two-Year-Old Fillies Sales Stakes – BEYONDTHESUN

BC-bred BEYONDTHESUN captured the $50,000 Sales Stakes for Two-Year-Old Canadian-Bred Fillies.

The Sungold filly, out of the Abraaj mare Quatre Cat, now has an impressive record of two wins and two seconds from four starts, with earnings of $64,000 for owner Jen Dueck.

Beyondthesun was bred by Gladys & Karen Dittloff and Dave & Sylvea Gregory and sold through the 2025 CTHS Alberta Sale for $6,550.


🐎 $50,000 Three- & Four-Year-Old Fillies Sales Stakes – CHI CHI TIME

BC-bred CHI CHI TIME continued her remarkable career with another victory, taking the $50,000 Sales Stakes for Three- and Four-Year-Old Canadian-Bred Fillies.

The four-year-old Amarachi filly is now an incredible seven-for-seven, with stakes victories including the Northlands Distaff Handicap, 2025 CTHS Sales Stakes at Hastings, Hong Kong Jockey Club Handicap and River Rock Casino Stakes.

Chi Chi Time has career earnings of $174,000. She was bred by Gladys & Karen Dittloff and is owned by Wil-A-Way Farm, Gail Jewsbury and Pat Jarvis.


🐎 $50,000 Three- & Four-Year-Old Sales Stakes – CHASE

BC-bred CHASE captured the $50,000 Sales Stakes for Three- and Four-Year-Old Canadian Breds, adding another stakes victory to his successful season.

The three-year-old Pop Artist gelding also won the Auburn Stakes at Emerald Downs this year and now has a career record of 8-3-1-3, finishing in the top three in seven of his eight starts with earnings of $106,000.

Bred by Sandra Loseth, Chase sold through the 2024 BC CTHS Sale for $5,940 and is now owned by Gary Williamson.
