Horse Haulers will be affected!

Anyone hauling horses into the United States should be aware of the recent changes introduced by the Electronic Logging Device (ELD) Mandate in December 2017. The American Horse Council has put together a brochure called Electronic Logging Device Mandate - How Will It Affect You which explains the new rules.
Canadian haulers within Canada should also keep watch on the Canadian standards for transportation on the Transport Canada site in this regard as 'Canada’s new regulations for both technologies are closely aligned with similar regulations in the United States to improve safety and to support economic growth, trade, and shipping.'
