Godolphin Announces Canadian Eligibility for TIEA Awards

Admin • June 29, 2023

Godolphin Announces that Employees of the Canadian Thoroughbred industry are now eligible to be nominated to the Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards! Deadline is July 16th.

Sponsored by Godolphin, these awards recognize the unsung heroes in the Thoroughbred industry; those behind-the-scenes individuals that might not get to the winners circle or get interviewed on television but are so very important to our great industry.

Perhaps you know someone that is worthy of such recognition like stable hands, maintenance crew, grooms, hot walkers, exercise riders, foaling managers, broodmare managers?

For the first time, the Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards are open to nominees from Canada!

There is $122,000 in total prizes and an all expense paid trip for two to Kentucky!

All finalists get to bring a “plus one” with them on their all-expense paid trip to the Thoroughbred capital of the world in Lexington. Flights, hotels, transportation and meals are all included!

While winners and runners-up receive cash awards, co-workers of the finalists will also share in the celebration as they, too, receive a monetary payout.

Please go the tiea.org homepage for the breakdown of the cash prizes.

Awards are available in the following categories:

Leadership Award

Newcomer Award
