Alberta Breds at Century Mile Racetrack and Casino - May 17, 18 & 19th 2024

The Thoroughbreds had an extra day of racing this past long weekend with races taking place at Century Mile Racetrack and Casino on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.


The Alberta breds started off the weekend with HARBOR DANCER and FLASHFORDANI both having wins on Friday night. The Harbor the Gold runner, Harbor Dancer, won his first career start for breeder and owners Cheryl & Doug Allen. The Tapiture gelding, Flashfordani, captured his Allowance Optional Claiming race for breeder Highfield Investment Group Inc. and owner Irving Devey.


THRILL OF THE NITE, BOOTIFUL ROSE, VANTASTICCANAVERAL and PERDITION wrapped up the race days on Sunday with wins in their respective races. The Saturdaynitelites runner, Thrill of the Nite, has now won both her starts out this season for breeder Perry Pellerin and owner, On The Rail Racing.


The Shaman Ghost CTHS Alberta sale grad and multiple stakes placed Bootiful Rose won her first race of the season for breeder Stone Ranches and owner Don Danard. The Cape Canaveral runner, Vantasticcanaveral, is a winner in his first race of the year for breeder and owner Ed Keryliuk. The Gayego gelding and CTHS Alberta sale grad Perdition also won his first season start for breeder Bar None Ranches Ltd. and owner Salt River Holdings, Inc. & Viking Stables.
