2021 CTHS Alberta Sales Stake Recap

The four $50,000 CTHS Alberta Sales Stakes took place during October at Century Mile Racetrack and Casino in Nisku and were run over seven furlongs on the dirt.

INFINITE PATIENCE was the winner of the Sales Stake for Three and Four Year Old Fillies on October 15^th from a field of four including three Alberta breds. The four year old Infinite Patience makes this her fourth victory in a row, adding it to wins in the Northlands Distaff Handicap and the BC CTHS Sales Stake and giving her career earnings of $280,685 to date and a record of 14-9-1-1. The BC bred Sungold filly is owned by Ryan Nugent-Hopkins & William DeCoursey and was bred by William DeCoursey out of the mare, Montero.

GREEK GEEK captured the Three and Four Year Old Sales Stake for colts and geldings on October 16^th at Century Mile Racetrack and Casino from a field of eight. The Alberta bred gelding adds this to his recent back to back wins in the black type Century Mile Handicap and the Alberta Breeders’ Handicap. The four year old was bred by Moonshine Meadow Ranch and now has $166,697 in lifetime earnings and a record of 19-7-5-3 for owner Riversedge Racing Stables Ltd.

ONEOFTHEMGIRLS won the Two Year Old Fillies Sales Stake on October 22^nd from a field of six. The Exhi filly added this victory to a recent win in the Sturgeon River Stakes, bringing her career earnings to $53,509 and a record of 5-2-0-1 in her debut season. Oneofthemgirls was bred by Highfield Investment Group Inc and Curtis Landry and is owned by Highfield Investment Group, Curtis Landry and Irving Devey.

ASYOUBELIEVE was the victor in the Sales Stake for Two Year Old Colts and Geldings from five entries on October 23^rd. The BC bred gelding also won the black type Juvenile Stakes in his debut season on the track and has earned $60,118 with a record of 4-3-0-1. Asyoubelieve was bred by Bennett/Caravetta by the sire, Second In Command and is owned by Shot in the Dark Racing Corp.
