Stallion News – American Pharoah Son KNOW IT NOW added to the Alberta Stallion Roster The American Pharoah son KNOW IT NOW has arrived in Alberta to stand stud at the Schweer Farm. The six year old is a winner of two races and earnings of US $64,050. American Pharoah is a multiple graded stakes winner of US $8.6 Million. As a three year old, American Pharoah won seven Grade 1 stakes races and became the first Triple Crown winner in 37 years.

Stallion News from Stolz Thoroughbreds CITY WOLF Acquired by Stolz Thoroughbreds Cassandra Stolz has released the news that the Giant’s Causeway son, CITY WOLF has been acquired by Stolz Thoroughbreds. City Wolf was a dominant winner of the 2011 Durham Cup Stakes (G3) over G1 stakes winner Stately Victor, classic winner Eye of the Leopard and multiple graded stakes winner James Street. City Wolf placed second in the 2012 Seagram Cup Stakes (G3) and the 2012 Durham Cup Stakes (G3). The race career for City Wolf included victories from seven furlongs to 1 1/8 miles and $293,686 in earnings with a record of 18-4-3-1.

Stolz Thoroughbreds has announced that they have acquired a farm just southeast of Edmonton where their breeding operation will now be centred. Their three stallions Dynamic Sky, Medallist and Readyforprimetime will stand stud at the farm. Stolz Thoroughbreds will also offer services such as paddock board, mare care, yearling starting, horse training, sales preparation and rehabilitation. Future plans include construction of a new barn and offering foaling services.
