ATTENTION VERY URGENT:

Thanks to Mae Smith and the Saskatchewan Horse Federation a marketing opportunity has been identified to market performance and breeding horses to China.  The provinces participating in this program at this time will be Saskatchewan, Quebec and Alberta (if Alberta has takers).  This marketing project must be totally funded by the participants.

A contractor has been identified who will arrange for and service a booth at an Exposition in China and translate all material appropriately.  We have less than ten days from this date to put it together so whoever is interested in this project needs to get on it right away.

We will need material sufficient for a two-fold 8 1/2 x 11 two sided pamphlet.  Lots of good pictures. Images must be 400KB and submitted in jpeg format.  All material is to be sent electronically.  The material will be put on disk and submitted for translation to the contractor.  Participants must commit to having funds and the material to the AEF office on or before 10 Sep 2010.

The identified horse interests are for Thoroughbred, Arabian, Quarter Horse, Appaloosa and Warm Blood.  (Any gender)

The performance interests are including, but not limited to, Jumping, Flat Track Racing, Barrel Racing, Reining  Pleasure and Recreation.

The market in China is also looking for services and education for training and trainers, coaches, clinicians etc.

All services and animals should be quoted at Alberta prices and guaranteed sound at time of delivery in Alberta.  All transportation to be paid by purchaser(s).

COST:

The first six applicants who are AEF members and who commit to this project at $ 200.00 each and submitt the criteria will be accepted as participants.  A committment form will be sent to each of the first six applicants. If there are questions please contact Bill desBarres 1-403-526-1070.

This AEF marketing project is a Breeds & Industry initiative in cooperation with the respective Saskatchewan and Quebec bodies.  This project is open to all AEF members.
