a four year old by Bar None's Gilded Time, has been invited to run in the March 28th $2 Million Dubai Golden Shaheen. Gayego should be one of the favorites n the six furlong race as he won the Grade 2 prep for the race on March 6th in Dubai. (Updated March 17, 2009)
Russian Sage (SAF), partially owned by Highfield Stock Farm of Okotoks, Alberta, has been invited to run in the $5 Million Dubai Duty Free race. Russian Sage should be one of the favorites having just placed second in a Grade 2 prep race on March 6th. The racing post in England has rated Russian Sage as co-highweight in its latest rankings for middle distance turf horses in the world. He is weighted equally with Jay Peg who has won $7 Million in his career.(Updated March 17, 2009)

Alberta race horse owner, Dick Bonnycastle, in partnership with Jim & Susan Hill own Blue Exit, a four year old gelding entered in the $1,000,000 Santa Anita Handicap coming up on Saturday, March 7th. Blue Exit is by Pulpit (KY) and out of Black Speck by Arch. Pulpit is sired by A.P. Indy. Blue Exit's last race was the 9 furlong Stub Stakes at Santa Anita on February 10th where he placed second after running a close race to just miss catching Cowboy Cal. (Posted March 3, 2009)
