FRIDAY, JULY 2 - 2010

Part 1               Canadian-bred Yearlings

Entry Fee:        $ 467.50 including GST

Includes $100 Sales Stake In Fee so that all yearlings will be Sales Stake eligible

 

Part 2               American-bred Yearlings

Entry Fee:        $735.00 including GST

American bred yearlings are not eligible for the Sales Stakes.

 

Part 3               Horses of Racing Age, Broodmares and Weanlings

Entry Fee:        $157.50 including GST

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 2 - 2010

                        Horses of Racing Age

Entry Fee:        $157.50 including GST

                        Only Horses of Racing Age are accepted into the Supplement Catalogue

Commission: If consigned and presented for sale (regardless if the horse is sold or receives a bid - 5% of the last bid or consignors reserve bid by whomsoever made or $300 (yearlings) or $50 (others), whichever is greater. 

ALL MAIN CATALOGUE AND SUPPLEMENT CATALOGUE ENTRIES WILL BE SOLD ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 23RD 2010

PLEASE REMEMBER THE FOLLOWING WHEN FILLING OUT CONTRACT:

  •  When entering yearlings, indicate the engagements nominated for and the province-bred
  •  When entering broodmares, indicate the following:
  • 1. Today's pregnancy status of mare
  • 2. Last service date
  • 3. Covering sire
  • 4. Foaling status of mare for 2009 and 2010 including Sex/Color/Sire

  • ¨ Sign the contract on both sides and print name below clearly

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR SALE:

  •  Original Jockey Club Registration certificate for each horse
  •  Original Canadian Registration Certificate for each horse (if applicable)
  •  Original Coggins Test (dated within 6 months of sale)
  •  Breeding Status Certificate - Mare Pregnancy form verified within 10 days of sale

 

It is very important that ALL registration papers and Coggins tests accompany the signed sales contracts when mailed in to the CTHS office. 

Livestock identifiers from Livestock Identification Services will be present at the CTHS Sale to check Livestock Manifests.  More information can be found at http://www.lis-alberta.com/
