The change in venue opens up opportunities for our consignors to showcase their Thoroughbreds to a wider range of potential buyers. Spruce Meadows has been a supporter of Alberta Thoroughbreds for years and was a sales venue for the CTHS in the past. In fact, the record from the 1979 Alberta CTHS sale held at Spruce Meadows still stands for the highest selling thoroughbred yearling in Alberta. Canadiana Farm Stables consigned the dark brown Buckpasser - Cabala II filly who sold for $108,000.
